Board of Directors2013 Chapter Board
Jason Martin, OD Director at NetworkFleet is a “lazy” practitioner, working tirelessly to find the easiest, least intrusive ways to accelerate growth and development. He started college as a business major and finished as a theater major and this dual nature has resurfaced throughout his professional life – more creative than most business people and more practical and geeky than most creatives. OD is Jason’s sweet spot. Trained on the job by practitioners, PhD’s, and his insatiable curiosity, Jason had the opportunity to participate in and affect major change initiatives in a 17 year career at Home Depot. He has also coached entrepreneurs around the world and now runs development for a division of Verizon.
Sharon is an OD and Performance Consultant specializing in strategic planning, organizational change and leadership development. She is also an adjunct lecturer at the University of San Diego’s School of Business teaching Strategic Management and Organization Behavior. Sharon received her MBA from UCLA, and held management positions in several organizations before starting her own consulting practice.
Diann is the Director of Training and Organization Development for the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority. An experienced T &OD professional, she has worked in the fields of education, healthcare, government and manufacturing. Her areas of expertise include leadership development, facilitation, and team building. Diann has a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Iowa State University and a Master’s degree in Training and Organization Development from the University of Minnesota. She is the co-author of The Other Blended Learning: A Classroom Centered Approach, Pfeiffer 2005.
Judy is an independent consultant and principal of Issokson and Associates. Her global practice is grounded in areas of executive coaching, large-scale organizational change, leadership development, and succession planning. Judy earned her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Northeastern University. She believes that there is no one right answer or quick fix— and strives to construct blended solutions for balanced, contextual results.
Melissa Steeg is a Training and OD Specialist at the Port of San Diego. She previously worked with PETCO where she developed training for associates and leaders, and supported key departments in business strategy. Her passions include team building, change management, leadership development and facilitation. Melissa received her BA in Psychology from USD, and is planning to pursue a Masters Degree with an emphasis in Organizational Development. |
