Barbara started HRx in 1995 because of her passion to help companies work smarter with less resources. She felt she could do much more as an outside consultant than an internal consultant and began the performance consultancy in Herndon, VA. The company relocated to San Diego, CA in 1996.
Barbara has a Master's degree in Human Resource Development and graduate certificates in Instructional Design and Total Quality Management (TQM) from Marymount University. She completed her undergraduate work in Consumer Affairs and Management at Florida International University.
Ms. Greenstein is an adjunct professor for the Masters Program in Human Resources at Chapman University in San Diego, CA. She teaches the HR646 (Training and Development), HR696 (Performance Improvement Strategies) and HR616 (Consulting) classes for the program. Barbara is also a Certified Performance Technologist (CPT), a certification awarded through the International Society of Performance Improvement and the American Society for Training and Development. Barbara received her certification in May of 2003.
